SAY HELLO TO THIS MONTH’S
Guest ARTISTS
Steven Scobee // is a Colorado-grown dog enthusiast and visual artist, educated in Communication Design. He has spent much of his Creative journey focused on experience and diversification. His ambitions towards being as versed and immersed in art as possible has taken him into the realm of Augmented Reality Art - or (AR)t. He dreams of building a robust and inclusive art community in Northern Colorado.
Lorene Martinez of Inception Flow, Fluid Artist, and Founding Member of Petrichor Collective // Lorene's work is bold, beautiful, and influenced by her background in science, and her love of nature. Lorene engages with her community through creativity by offering individual and group Fluid Art classes, as well as, free make-and-take mini art at events.
Amanda Compton // I am a survivor. Life is hard, it got harder for me when I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver (liver disease/liver failure). My life of partying, drinking all day and being cruel to my body had to make a 180. But I still felt sick even with the meds and the drastic change I've made. Art has been my saving grace. Art was what I needed to start being better. I try to make Art every day; I'm not kind when I don't. Even you, picking out your outfit this morning is Art ;) thank you so much for looking into my life!
Morgan Lindquist // My love for art started at a very young age (as it does for a lot of kiddos!) I had started by drawing cartoons and anime styles. By the time I was in high school, I took EVERY art class I could! Anything from drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, photography, you name it! Now, I work at Pinot's Palette as a painting instructor. My personal art has shifted to express the idea of self love, and finding beauty where you'd least expect it. Life is full of beauty, even in it's darkest or most simplistic forms. I've also grown a passion for painting space and galaxies, because I think we all deserve to let our heads float in the sky from time to time. Thank you for taking the time to see a different point of view, never stop dreaming.
Xavier Pereira // Xavier’s works can be characterized by punchy dabs of paint; they are motivated by personal observations and sentimental experiences shared with others- utilizing concepts that expand upon sensory impressions. Using his art as a form of meditation, he finds peace in letting the world fade away while narrowing focus on the minute details throughout the canvas.
Savanna Fortgang // My art is the world I see when I shut off my brain- color, expression, and queerness. A world of no confinement’s or judgements. The only reason I create is to express myself and the only reason I share is to promote imagination as the strongest tool. I want my art to remind every adult that its okay to connect to your inner child, and to show every child that art is here for you to dream aloud.
