SAY HELLO TO THIS MONTH’S
Guest ARTISTS
Chelsea Ermer // Hello. My name is Chelsea Ermer and I am an artist, reader and teacher. My work spans many different mediums from pen and ink, to gouche, to digital and Procreate art. Recently my work has been focused upon creating bookmarks for a variety of books. I also take commissions for pet portraits and bookmarks. I have also been fortunate enough to create murals for the city and you can find several of my Transformer cabinets around town. Overall, I love creating beautiful things in whatever medium I can get my hands on.
Eli Crocker // Hello, my name is Eli and I'm a geology student at CSU. I have always loved art and it has been such a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I use it as a way of expressing emotions that are hard to describe with words. Most of my pieces are centered around my PTSD, anxiety, depression, and experiences of homophobia/transphobia. I hope to reach audiences who feel the same emotions as I do. Maybe my work will help someone process their feelings. Art is all about interpretation and I want my viewers to think about the meaning behind my work or find a new meaning in it. I mainly do realistic portraits of people and animals but also really enjoy abstract art and landscapes. Watercolors and digital are my main mediums because I love working with color and they both allow me to be expressive. I used to only make black and white graphite pieces but, ever since I started using color, I couldn't stop. I love it so much and I hope others do too!
Hannah Simonds // Hey, I’m Hannah. I have loved art for as long as I can remember and have experimented with many different mediums. I’m currently pursuing a career as a tattooer. I have enjoyed making pendants out of my extensive crystal collection, making wood burning art pieces, and painting with watercolor and acrylics. Fantasy, sci-fi and nature are a constant inspiration for creating a little world of my own with my art.
Linda Roth // Linda Roth graduated from CSU with a BFA and an Art Education degree. While working as a freelance and public works artist for over 20 years, she also owns and operates Walnut Creek and The Merchant Room Gallery, in Fort Collins, since 2014. Influenced by her experiences as a single, widowed, mother of 3, an art advocate and educator, Linda is an accomplished artist in a variety of subjects and mediums. Her primary work focuses on her passion to encourage and promote women. Their need for gender equality, answers to continued cultural marginalization and abuse in all facets of our world today..
John Butler // I work mostly in the digital media platform. Having a life long interest in the arts with a strong background in computers and software led me to develop a unique style of portraiture over the years. Much of my recent works are inspired by "The Sandman", and Twin Peaks. I try to capture the cosmic essence, higher self or alter-ego of the subjects in my work.
Nathan Rose // Nathan grew up in inner city Denver where his love of creating artwork was nurtured by the microcosm of different cultures that exist there. Because of his exposure and love for so many different artistic styles, he rebelled against the idea that one must stick to just one. In fact, he named his business The Burning Bonsai, because a lot of his work is a blend of both Eastern and Western artistic styles and techniques.
Brenna Aldrich // Hello! My name is Brenna. I create artwork in a variety of mediums including painting, wood-burning, photography, digital illustration, and graphic design, which is what my degree is based in! Despite the medium, I am consistently inspired by the life cycles, efficiency, and balance found in nature as well as the surrealistic and nostalgic elements of folklore and fantasy. My aim is to help find, grow, and cherish my inner imagination without personal limitations and hopefully help others to do so, too!
Sarah Sonnenfeld // As a queer artist, it's important for me to create ceramics that bring joy and delight into the everyday. I love creating colorful pieces that celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as supporting individual queer identities. I am also inspired by the natural wonders of Colorado, especially our fabulous sunsets, windy skies, and shimmering rivers.
Lauren Domingo // Eldo, who? eldo lives nearby mountains, and manipulates zeros and ones to make thread dance into recognizable patterns of fantastical creatures and messages of truth, like being human feels alien. Sometimes eldo gathers clay to arrange in slightly changing positions to make short films to transmit emotions like soothing anxiety and/or growing self acceptance. As of late, you'll find eldo in a shed with a spinning wheel and more mud, trying to approach a zen-like state with hands too dirty to scroll a screen or let the streaming service know Yes, I'm still watching.
Aerica Raven // Aerica Raven’s multidisciplinary career is marked by murals, illustrations, and immersive environments designed to excite the imagination. Drawing inspiration from fact and fiction alike, she explores human issues in mental health, subjective karma, and natural selection. Her obsessively detailed work is characterized by protagonists who reveal the splendor of the unorthodox, the grotesque, and the ordinary. Endlessly fascinated with the human experience, Aerica strives to share the beauty in even our ugliest emotions, and to always reward curiosity with depth, detail, and wonder. Outside the studio, Aerica actively works to bring art to the public by painting for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits.
Lorene Martinez of Inception Flow, Fluid Artist, and Founding Member of Petrichor Collective // Lorene's work is bold, beautiful, and influenced by her background in science, and her love of nature. Lorene engages with her community through creativity by offering individual and group Fluid Art classes, as well as, free make-and-take mini art at events.
Brooke McGibben // Hello world! My name is Brooke my artwork I call my Psychedelic Punx. I just recently started to share my art with the world and it has been such a supportive and joyful experience! I combined my love for art with subject matter I enjoy such as music and skateboarding. I love to paint big canvases with vibrant colors. I use a combination of media however mostly work with paint markers and spray paint.
Brita LaTona // Brita LaTona grew up in the foothills of Colorado and nature has been her sanctuary. She found her love of painting as a teenager and enjoys working in acrylic on canvas. “Through my art I want to depict the inter-relationship between humans and the natural world. Nature and animals can symbolically show us what we have forgotten in ourselves. I hope that my art inspires people to look at themselves in a new light. When we understand the wisdom that nature shares with us, it allows us to uncover part of an ancient connection with ourselves, and all of life.”
Mag The Goblin Den // Hi, my name is Mag. My work includes collage, decoupage, and other visual arts. I began collaging when the collective existential crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic motivated me to explore artistic outlets. The creativity inspired by the randomness of thrifted, secondhand, and found objects is essential to my work and aligns with a personal commitment to walking on this Earth as gently as possible.
Ashley Sullivan // My name is Ashley Sullivan and I am the artist behind 'Street Ash'. I currently reside in Fort Collins, CO and paint on everything from canvas' to repurposed vinyl records. Much of my artwork is created from sketches that I then transform into hand-cut stencils. I fell in love with spray painting and repurposing material when I was in High School and have been combining the two ever since. I love to make artwork that is detailed yet bright and vibrant.
Steven Scobee // is a Colorado-grown dog enthusiast and visual artist, educated in Communication Design. He has spent much of his Creative journey focused on experience and diversification. His ambitions towards being as versed and immersed in art as possible has taken him into the realm of Augmented Reality Art - or (AR)t. He dreams of building a robust and inclusive art community in Northern Colorado.

I brought MCCB Design to life in 2017 and have the ultimate pleasure of helping people with their visual needs. Using the power of color and texture, my work aims to bring a sense of peace, calm, and whimsy to its viewers. Simple moments from an insane world presented in a beautiful light. Other work includes graphic design for The City of Fort Collins and branding, illustration, and environmental graphic design services through MCCB Design. Available for hire/commission.

She studies evolutionary biology of fungi and plays techno. desvu's journey into electronic music has began with trance music in her hometown Kyiv in 2007. After moving to US in 2014 she quickly developed passion towards techno music. Since then DesVu has been a part of underground techno seen in the western US. Influenced by pioneers of techno genre, such as Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, and others, she immediately and forever fell in love with acid techno, a genre of techno music developed from 1980s to 1990s. In her dj sets, desvu often mixes acid techno with trance and techno trance, thus creating uplifting, explosive, and fast-beat atmosphere on a dance floor.
Jesse Schlicker // With a CA Gold Country childhood to develop an early respect for nature, Jesse grew up exploring the abundance of life that surrounded him. There were many forms of art in the Schlicker household but none as ever-present as music. His father’s Les Paul singing through the pine trees, leading Jesse’s adventurous spirit to express itself freely, unabashed. He graduated with honors from SAE Institute in Rotterdam, Netherlands as an Audio Engineer and has performed on stages around the world.
