SAY HELLO TO THIS MONTH’S
Guest ARTISTS
Molly Moonchild // Just a weird gal making weird art for other weird people.
Brita LaTona // Brita LaTona grew up in the foothills of Colorado and nature has been her sanctuary. She found her love of painting as a teenager and enjoys working in acrylic on canvas. “Through my art I want to depict the inter-relationship between humans and the natural world. Nature and animals can symbolically show us what we have forgotten in ourselves. I hope that my art inspires people to look at themselves in a new light. When we understand the wisdom that nature shares with us, it allows us to uncover part of an ancient connection with ourselves, and all of life.”
Lizzy Sarnes Art // I'm new to Colorado and I am a graphic designer as well as a sculptural ceramic and 2D artist. I have been drawing and creating sculptures even before I could read and I don't intend to ever stop. My body of work is split evenly between darkly morbid and vibrantly absurd. I love to fill my world with memento mori while I embrace the beauty and humor of life.
Nathan Rose // Nathan grew up in inner city Denver where his love of creating artwork was nurtured by the microcosm of different cultures that exist there. Because of his exposure and love for so many different artistic styles, he rebelled against the idea that one must stick to just one. In fact, he named his business The Burning Bonsai, because a lot of his work is a blend of both Eastern and Western artistic styles and techniques.
Josh Sun // My name is Josh Sun also known as the folk prince of Colorado. I make music I tell jokes and I love making people happy one song at a time. Thank you for letting me share my heart with you.
Erin Joy Art // My name is Erin and I am a Fort Collins Colorado botanical illustrator, painter, jewelry maker, and small batch screen printer. As an outdoor enthusiast and birder, I am tremendously inspired by the natural world and the magic of its interconnected systems. My art focuses mainly on specific species I am inspired by, as well as the colors, textures, and variety of nature. My favorite part of the artist’s experience is connection, both to the natural world, and to the people who protect and cherish it.
Lisa Jones // My name is Lisa Jones, and I am a painter. I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember, taught mostly by my grandmother. She taught me to "paint what I see". What I love to see around me is nature. Nature is the most imperfect perfection there is. I love to paint landscapes, seascapes, landmarks, animals, and flowers. I am also inspired by my Celtic heritage and paint/draw all things Celtic and Scandinavian and pull from history, fantasy and myth. My mediums of choice are oil paint, acrylic, pencil and colored pencil. I paint/draw on canvas, wood, glass, and paper.
Brenna Aldrich // Hello! My name is Brenna. I create artwork in a variety of mediums including painting, wood-burning, photography, digital illustration, and graphic design, which is what my degree is based in! Despite the medium, I am consistently inspired by the life cycles, efficiency, and balance found in nature as well as the surrealistic and nostalgic elements of folklore and fantasy. My aim is to help find, grow, and cherish my inner imagination without personal limitations and hopefully help others to do so, too!
Macey Boren // My name is Macey Boren, and I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Northern Colorado. My approach to art is marked by the use of drawing, painting, metalsmithing, sculpture, installation, and digital fabrication as my primary mediums. The nexus of surrealist imagery and socio psychological turmoil are investigated throughout my body of work. In addition to utilizing art as a means of self expression, I also use my work to address social issues, such as mental health stigmas, misogyny in visual culture, and the marginalization of the LGBTQ+ community. As an artist, I strive to share my work with the public by crafting small handmade items for individuals, completing murals, and exhibiting my art locally.
Sarah Sonnenfeld // As a queer artist, it's important for me to create ceramics that bring joy and delight into the everyday. I love creating colorful pieces that celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as supporting individual queer identities. I am also inspired by the natural wonders of Colorado, especially our fabulous sunsets, windy skies, and shimmering rivers.
Lorene Martinez of Inception Flow, Fluid Artist, and Founding Member of Petrichor Collective // Lorene's work is bold, beautiful, and influenced by her background in science, and her love of nature. Lorene engages with her community through creativity by offering individual and group Fluid Art classes, as well as, free make-and-take mini art at events.
Brooke McGibben // Hello world! My name is Brooke my artwork I call my Psychedelic Punx. I just recently started to share my art with the world and it has been such a supportive and joyful experience! I combined my love for art with subject matter I enjoy such as music and skateboarding. I love to paint big canvases with vibrant colors. I use a combination of media however mostly work with paint markers and spray paint.
Ashley Sullivan // My name is Ashley Sullivan and I am the artist behind 'Street Ash'. I currently reside in Fort Collins, CO and paint on everything from canvas' to repurposed vinyl records. Much of my artwork is created from sketches that I then transform into hand-cut stencils. I fell in love with spray painting and repurposing material when I was in High School and have been combining the two ever since. I love to make artwork that is detailed yet bright and vibrant.
Allison Harvey with Pieces of Childhood // I love anything that is unique and makes a statement. I get asked often about where I get my earrings or planters so I decided to give this crafting thing a try and spread the love of creepy fun toys being used in art.
Madeline Bechtel // Hi! I'm Madeline Bechtel and I'm a local graphic designer and illustration artist known as MCCB. I brought MCCB Design to life in 2017 and have the ultimate pleasure of helping people with their visual needs. Using the power of color and texture, my work aims to bring a sense of peace, calm, and whimsy to its viewers. Simple moments from an insane world presented in a beautiful light. Other work includes graphic design for The City of Fort Collins and branding, illustration, and environmental graphic design services through MCCB Design. Available for hire/commission.
Amanda Bushere Designs // My name is Amanda or Panda of Amanda Bushere Designs. I create digital art prints & UV paintings! My work has always been a vehicle to portray my connection to the Universe. My theme has ranged from galactic fantasy landscapes to the bodies of elemental dust that makes up a galaxy. My work has evolved to different dimensions and I have been playing around with how to portray this in an art piece. This has been my passion to connect the viewer to the Universe through my artwork. To help bring awareness so they can find their own connection.
Jesse Schlicker // With a CA Gold Country childhood to develop an early respect for nature, Jesse grew up exploring the abundance of life that surrounded him. There were many forms of art in the Schlicker household but none as ever-present as music. His father’s Les Paul singing through the pine trees, leading Jesse’s adventurous spirit to express itself freely, unabashed. He graduated with honors from SAE Institute in Rotterdam, Netherlands as an Audio Engineer and has performed on stages around the world. He carries this passion, fostered by those that love him, guiding his inner self wherever he goes.
Morgan Lindquist // My love for art started at a very young age (as it does for a lot of kiddos!) I had started by drawing cartoons and anime styles. By the time I was in high school, I took EVERY art class I could! Anything from drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, photography, you name it! Now, I work at Pinot's Palette as a painting instructor. My personal art has shifted to express the idea of self love, and finding beauty where you'd least expect it. Life is full of beauty, even in it's darkest or most simplistic forms. I've also grown a passion for painting space and galaxies, because I think we all deserve to let our heads float in the sky from time to time. Thank you for taking the time to see a different point of view, never stop dreaming.
Linda Roth // Linda Roth graduated from CSU with a BFA and an Art Education degree. While working as a freelance and public works artist for over 20 years, she also owns and operates Walnut Creek and The Merchant Room Gallery, in Fort Collins, since 2014. Influenced by her experiences as a single, widowed, mother of 3, an art advocate and educator, Linda is an accomplished artist in a variety of subjects and mediums. Her primary work focuses on her passion to encourage and promote women. Their need for gender equality, answers to continued cultural marginalization and abuse in all facets of our world today..
John Butler // I work mostly in the digital media platform. Having a life long interest in the arts with a strong background in computers and software led me to develop a unique style of portraiture over the years. Much of my recent works are inspired by "The Sandman", and Twin Peaks. I try to capture the cosmic essence, higher self or alter-ego of the subjects in my work.
Scott Lenaway // I feel the impact of a given object is how it is rendered. An object can be implied by marks. There should be an aspect of the mystical and unknown in how an object is rendered.

Rayne’s Things // Hello, I am Sasha Krause (aka Rayne’s Things)! The purpose of my art is to create portraiture that ignites a sense of excitement within my audience. My main goal over my first year of quarantining on and off for the COVID-19 pandemic was to create my own artistic style. I chose a form of art that I enjoyed practicing and I refined it. I have always had fun drawing things like eyes, so I figured to challenge myself I would begin my journey in practicing portraiture. Not the realistic, Frida Kahlo kind, but my very own new kind of portraiture. The reason I wanted to create my own style was to explore my unique view on art. I wanted to allow myself a space to explore and express my imagination. My journey is far from over, and I am delighted with new ideas for my style and general artwork every day. The main medium that I enjoy working in is digital media, but I’m also drawn to experimentation in physical mediums! For the most part I use the Adobe suite and Procreate to complete my projects, but this show incorporates a lot of my mixed media and printmaking work! Some influential artists for my work are Kel Lauren, AF Illustrations, Radhia Rahman, and Dreyfus Art.
Ingrid Martini - Writer // I am a seeker of knowledge and a spinner of yarns. I love to play, I love to explore and I love bad jokes — especially puns. Bicycling is my bliss and I dig classic convertibles. I’m a no BS, hard-working, straight shooter. I have a bounce in my step and an optimistic soul. Where others see barriers and roadblocks, I see challenges and possibilities. I also love art and supporting artists. And, what’s an art show without snacks? I like to make snacks to share.
Cosmic Heart Arts // Cosmic Heart Arts by Lauren is a collection of one of a kind, heirloom style, cosmic creations featuring sterling silver and genuine gemstone jewelry. Originally born and raised in the desert of West Texas, Cosmic Heart Arts features pieces with a southwestern, yet modern design. All pieces are slowly hand crafted with intention. Most, if not all, stones are sourced directly from the miners/miner’s families, small family businesses and trusted lapidary artists.
Ali Rose // For a few years Ali has made art her passion, her soul, her healing tool. A struggle, a single mother of a teenage boy, as well as a massage therapist and hair dresser, she is self taught and found art to be a perfect outlet for her dealing with personal illness and addiction. And beginning decades ago By creating personal memory boxes For those who have lost loved ones, her art has become a calming escape for her as well as many who feel her passion.

Vaughn Rose // Vaughn is mostly tortured, partially artist. He loves the little things in life, like sweet coffee, cats, plants, and food. He is a digital artist, and a painter. But mostly he's a writer and theatre goblin extraordinaire.
