SAY HELLO TO THIS MONTH’S
Guest ARTISTS
Steven Scobee // is a Colorado-grown dog enthusiast and visual artist, educated in Communication Design. He has spent much of his Creative journey focused on experience and diversification. His ambitions towards being as versed and immersed in art as possible has taken him into the realm of Augmented Reality Art - or (AR)t. He dreams of building a robust and inclusive art community in Northern Colorado.
Lorene Martinez of Inception Flow, Fluid Artist, and Founding Member of Petrichor Collective // Lorene's work is bold, beautiful, and influenced by her background in science, and her love of nature. Lorene engages with her community through creativity by offering individual and group Fluid Art classes, as well as, free make-and-take mini art at events.
Xavier Pereira // Xavier’s works can be characterized by punchy dabs of paint; they are motivated by personal observations and sentimental experiences shared with others- utilizing concepts that expand upon sensory impressions. Using his art as a form of meditation, he finds peace in letting the world fade away while narrowing focus on the minute details throughout the canvas.
Hannah Simonds // Hey, I’m Hannah. I have loved art for as long as I can remember and have experimented with many different mediums. I’m currently pursuing a career as a tattooer. I have enjoyed making pendants out of my extensive crystal collection, making wood burning art pieces, and painting with watercolor and acrylics. Fantasy, sci-fi and nature are a constant inspiration for creating a little world of my own with my art.
Ingrid Martini - Writer // I am a seeker of knowledge and a spinner of yarns. I love to play, I love to explore and I love bad jokes — especially puns. Bicycling is my bliss and I dig classic convertibles. I’m a no BS, hard-working, straight shooter. I have a bounce in my step and an optimistic soul. Where others see barriers and roadblocks, I see challenges and possibilities. I also love art and supporting artists. And, what’s an art show without snacks? I like to make snacks to share.
Pathways // "Paths of the Wilderness" - Sharing the unique healing journeys of love and loss through creative expression. Experiences with grief and the losses of illness shift our lives from a familiar landscape to a vast and uncertain wilderness. By engaging in the creative process, the bereaved and those coping with illness can find a path through that wilderness by entering a process of healing and transformation. With this exhibit, we illuminate our unique experiences to reveal how our paths connect, showing us the wilderness is not as dark as it often seems.
